The season generally runs concurrent with a normal school year. Rodeos begin around the first of September and continue through the state finals held the first part of June each year. If a member reaches the coveted top 4 in each event, they have the chance to represent our state at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming, July 14-20, 2024.
The rodeo events are: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Breakaway Roping, Tie Down Roping, Pole Bending, Steer Wrestling, Goat Tying, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Girls Cutting, Boys Cutting, Reined Cow Horse and Queen's Contest.
If you would like to become a member, alumni member, adult member, sponsor, produce a rodeo, volunteer to help at a rodeo or get more information, we would be happy to hear from you!
We love our members, but we don't keep normal business hours. We all have "real" jobs, too. But don't let that hold you back. Call, email, text or follow us on Facebook if you need anything. We will get back to you as soon as possible!
